Women Economic Forum (WEF) is an associate of ALL Ladies League (ALL, the world's largest All-inclusive International women's chamber and a movement for the Welfare, Wealth, and Wellbeing of ALL. As a superhighway o 'Internet of women', ALL is a worldwide web of women's leadership, friendship and entrepreneurship. With over 500- chapters and over 250,000+ members across 150 countries (and ever growing by referral), ALL & WEF together are the fastest growing global network of women where women as also men who support them are coming together to unleash our collective potential in all walks of life. We are committed to women's economic empowerment and also promote global sisterhood that greatly serves women's social and economic needs.

Meet our WEF-NJ President
Dr. Denise Fernandes is a distinguished leader, global advocate, and passionate champion for education and women’s empowerment. She serves as the President of the Women Economic Forum New Jersey and is the Co-Founder of La Via al Éxito, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities and uplifting underserved communities. She is also a Global Advisor for Mission Zero Hunger and an Honorary Life Member of the All Ladies League, reflecting her deep commitment to global progress and social impact. Dr. Fernandes is the visionary behind The Fernandes Initiative, a platform she created to advance leadership, equity, and transformational community work. For 15 years, she proudly represented President Barack Obama as the Latino Outreach Lead for New Jersey, strengthening civic engagement and amplifying Latino voices statewide. She is an Obama Alumni and a dedicated Mentor with the Obama Foundation, continuing her work to inspire and guide emerging leaders. In the arts and community sector, Dr. Fernandes serves at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) as the Chair of the Latino Engagement Committee and contributes her voice to the Union County Interfaith Commission as the Latino Outreach representative. She also served as a member of the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Hispanics under Presidents Obama and Biden, supporting national efforts to expand access and opportunity. Dr. Fernandes holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Master of Arts in American Literature. She is multilingual—fluent in Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese—and has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Governance and Leadership from the United Graduate College and Seminary.
